The original company, Ammonia Casale, was established in Lugano in 1921 to provide these services to the ammonia manufacturing sector.Thanks to the innovative trend set by its founder, Dr. Luigi Casale, which has been preserved and nurtured as the company culture by subsequent management teams, Ammonia Casale invested significantly in technology development in the ammonia and related fields, so that today the group can provide all the services listed above to manufacturers of Ammonia, Urea, Methanol and their derivatives, as well as in special fields such as electrolytic Hydrogen production and specialised burner design.

Today the group's main activity is revamping existing plants - an area in which the Casale Group is a world leader - although it is also involved in the construction of new plants.
