First application of Casale’s UAS granulation process in China.
In close consultation with the end-user, China Tianchen Engineering Corporation, one of China’s leading Engineering and Contracting Companies, has selected Casale’s fluid bed urea-ammonium sulphate (UAS) granulation process for the Xinjiang Xinji Energy and Chemicals Co. Ltd. ’s Recycling Economy Joint Chemical EPC project.

Latest technology to double the nitrogen-based fertilizers capacity and help maximizing the green energy generation at site
Casale and Agropolychim have signed an agreement which ultimately will lead to double its nitrogen-based fertilizer production capacity up to 1,5 million ton yearly of AN, CAN, CN and UAN combined. Casale will license and engineer a new state-of-the-art dual pressure nitric acid plant that will also allow to enhance the local green energy production. The plant is planned to be commissioned before the end of 2027.

Casale SA (Lugano) and Technip Energies (PARIS: TE) announce a new partnership to jointly license oxidative reforming-based technologies, autothermal reforming (ATR) and partial oxidation (POx) technologies for the blue hydrogen market.

We are pleased to announce the award of a contract with Urbas Energy Developments (Spain) for the execution of the Basic Engineering Design of the synthesis loop of an innovative green ammonia facility to be established in Villeta by ATOME Energy, an international company operating in the field of green hydrogen and ammonia production, to supply Paraguay and the region’s agricultural and fertilizer markets with sustainable alternatives.

Casale opens a new road in the revamping of Ammonia plants. After hundreds of revamps with the aim of increasing capacity and reducing emissions, the time has come for the zero-emission "from Grey to Green" conversion.

Casale announces the successful acquisition of Green Granulation), a company leading the design and construction of urea and Ammonium Nitrate (AN) / Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (CAN) granulation systems and owning a proprietary technology. The company is based in Hong Kong with a subsidiary office in Beijing.

We are pleased to announce that Casale’s Chief Executive Officer, Federico Zardi, has been appointed as a member of AIChE’s Ammonia Safety Committee.

Casale is committed to study the application of its technology, mainly in connection with the well know state-of-art Casale Ammonia Converter, to a Yara ammonia factory at Herøya (Norway).
