Senior Process Engineer in Solid Fertilizers

In this frame, the company is currently seeking a dynamic Senior Process Engineer.

The offered position is within the Process Division and the candidate will be part of an existing group of experienced people working on plant and equipment process design.
The main responsibilities are:
- Definition of optimal process configuration, plant simulation, and design of process equipment.
- Preparation of process documentation for Technical Proposals, Feasibility Studies, Basic Engineering Packages and leading a process team within large project execution.
- Technical support to proposal activities, including visits to Customers for clarification meetings.
- Technical support for technical alignment of supplier’s offer, for the assigned projects/proposals.
- Site surveys and assistance to start up and test run.
- Technical support to the Customer Care department for troubleshooting and plant performance evaluation.
- Participation in main conferences and events.
Job requirements
Education:
- Master’s degree in chemical engineering.
Languages:
- Very fluent written and spoken English.
Skills:
- Good knowledge of software tools for plant simulation and equipment.
- Availability to travel for contacts, discussions with clients, site surveys, plant start-up and guarantee test runs.
- Good team player, ability to build relationships inside and outside the company, self-motivated with strong communication skills.
Experience:
- 8 -12 years of work experience in a similar position in an engineering or technology company designing Solid Fertilizer plants.
- Experience in the development of projects with extended scope of work like EP, EPC or EPCM would be strongly preferred.
- Specific work experience/know-how in:
- solid fertilizers like but not limited to AN based fertilizers, complex fertilizers NPK, and superphosphates.
- experience and know-how relevant to technologies for the production of solid fertilizers.
- experience and know-how relevant to granulation technologies to produce solid fertilizers.
- experience in design and/or operation of the production plant of solid fertilizers
- experience in design and/or operation of equipment involved in the production plant of solid fertilizers, like but not limited to rotating drums, screens, crusher, fluidized bed, solid conveyors/elevators, cyclones, wet scrubbing.
