We are happy to announce that Casale methanol synthesis technology has been applied in the project that GIDARA Energy is currently developing to convert non-recyclable waste into advanced biofuel.
The project, named Advanced Methanol Amsterdam (AMA), is located inside the Port of Amsterdam (NL) and will produce about 260 MTD of sustainable methanol fuel.
Casale are providing the license, basic design, and proprietary items, including the proprietary plate-cooled IMC converter.
The project aims to become the first of a series to produce a highly valuable commodity cutting the reliance on traditional, imported feedstock while reducing the environmental footprint and contributing to create a greener economy.
